No one is taking your phone away, it just plugs into the back of the Hub instead of the BT phone socket.

Yes, and you will still have your housephone after the "digital switchover"   The only issue some users have is the location of the Hub and phone.

Easy to solve, RJ11 to BT Socket adaptors are about £3 from eBay or Amazon.

Adapters are only valuable if the OP's hub has been provisioned for Digital Voice. VM informs by post (at least in my case) that DV was available and I had to ask for it,

      Hello steleekezmc

Thank you for taking the time to post in regards to changes to your landline and the concerns this has raised, we appreciate you taking the time to raise this with us via the forums.

Can you confirm if you have been advised that your landline is due to change to the digital format via your hub? This is usually sent via letter confirming the date the change is due to take place.

If you have, an adapter will be sent to you prior to the changes being made. If not, it may be that your property isn't included in the current roll out of the changes and may be done at a later date.

Hi, regarding the phone landline switch over. My hub is in the attic and my phone is in the living room, 2 floors lower. Is there a way to keep these in the same location when the switch over happens? I need to keep the router upstairs fir connection to xbox, tv etc. Thank you so much for helping.
