New fibre phone line switch over
Hi,
I have just received an email to explain the home phone line will be switched over to fibre. My issue is that the Hub is currently upstairs and phone line in the hall so I cannot just use the adaptor as suggested. Please can someone advise? I believe an engineer will be required in this situation. Would I need just a longer cable or a relocation of the Hub?
Kind regards,

My folks are in their late 80s, faced with the same issue they bought a cordless phone with multiple handsets. The base unit connects direct to the VM Hub port TEL 1 (or BT Router). Now REN does not matter and the telephone cables do not need to be reconnected. The old BT style sockets & cables can all be removed during the next re-decoration.
