Move old landline number from EE to VirginMedia full fibre

I have just had a new Virgin Media fibre service installed and didn't realise I could port my landline number from EE at the time?

is this possible and what is the service fee?

  • Hi livingstone24,

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 🙂

If the landline is still active with your old provider please let us know and we can pop you over a private message to get a few more details.

If the number is no longer active, sadly we wouldn't be able to port it over.

        Hi livingstone24

        Thank you for confirming this.
There is no charge to port a number over from your old supplier, but you would need a Virgin Media landline service in your package.
You mentioned you have just had the broadband installed, if you've not also agreed a package with a Virgin Media landline service, then you would need to speak with customer services to discuss adding a landline service to your package. This would be a new contract agreement and as such, also a new monthly package price.

We are unable to do package change requests through the forums, so the team will be able to discuss the available packages to add a landline service and the cost differences and also arrange for the number port should you wish to go ahead with a adding on a Virgin Media landline to your current broadband service. You can contact the team from your online account through live chat, by calling 0345 454 1111 or through SMS on WhatsApp on +44 7305 327 112.
