I recently upgraded with virgin but this disconnected my phone line and I have contacted them numerous times to see if I can get my old landline back but have still not had an answer.
Is it possible to have an old land line number reactivated?

We're sorry to hear that your landline service was disconnected, assumingly in error by reading your post.
There's no guarantee that we will be able to get it back we're afraid now that the line has been disconnected, but the sooner we catch the issue the better.
