My landline phone has no dialling tone and can't make or receive calls. Strangely, my mobile phone can also not make or receive calls/texts since yesterday evening. It's saying No Service and No Sim. Anyone got any ideas? I can't even ring Virgin as I haven't got a working phone.

Sorry to hear of your landline concerns.
Do you have the landline plugged into the back of the router, or straight into the master socket using the old copper line network?
If you have this plugged into the back of the router, ensure that this is plugged into the GREY TEL 1 port only.
Please try rebooting your router to see if this resolves the landline issue.
With your O2 concerns, you would need to speak with O2 directly on any methods listed here.
