Landline not receiving calls

Hi,

First time posting on this forum, please be patient with me.

I have recently bought and installed a Panasonic KX-TGC312, due to my previous home phone randomly stopping receiving calls.

This issue unfortunately continued to this phone. I have returned and received a replacement for it, however this issue persists, showing that this issue hasn’t been with the phones.

I have checked all available settings and turning on and off and unplugging and replugging all things available to me, however not of this has led to a resolve.

 

All of this leads me to believe the issue is with the line or the socket itself.

please can you assist with this further on fixing the problem

    We're sorry to hear you're having an issue receiving calls. We've not been able to locate your account in order to run some remote checks. Can you let us know the following please?

    • Is your landline connected directly through a wall socket, or is it plugged into your Hub?
    • Are you able to make calls on your landline?
    • When trying to ring your landline, do you get the usual ring tone or a different one?

      Hi Kath,

      I can confirm the landline is plugged directly into the wall.

      We can make phone calls with it.

      And when I ring on my mobile the ring tone is normal.

        Hi Julia10, thank you for your response.

        In order to look into this for you further, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner. 

        If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.
