Landline not fixed

Had no landline since Saturday - engineer visit yesterday moved landline to VoIP - left and said it’ll work in 10 mins.  Took five hours then managed to call out but cannot receive incoming calls - says number not recognised.

No one interested tried to call both virgin and engineer - but just being passed around in circles. Only just renewed my contract with virgin so am contemplating cancelling as just within cooling off period.

  • Hi dd68, thanks for the update in regards to this matter.

    Can you please confirm if any diagnostics have been completed on the hub since the VOIP landline services was installed - such as resets or reboots?

      Yes I’ve spent a considerable amount of time on the phone and all tests have been run but they are saying need an engineer but won’t book one.  Tried original engineer who started the process but hitting brick walls

        Thanks for coming back to me dd68.

        Let me take a closer look into this for you to see if there's scope to have an engineer booked, or if there's an underlying reason as to why this cannot be requested.
