Landline Dead/Help Desperately Needed

I am desperate for help with my landline which has been dead for four days now. I have no other phone, no smartphone and no mobile and rely heavily on my landline. I sat in a neighbours house yesterday and was on the phone for over an hour, eventually they put me through to the back up team who told me there was a fault in my area and it would be working in 4-6hrs but 12hrs later it is still dead. My neighbour is out today so I went to a phonebox to call but when I call 150 I get BT. When I try and get help online the only solution I can see is to call you - but I don't have a working phone. I am pretty desperate to get it fixed, I am a carer and I cannot ring an ambulance if needed, I use online security and my bank cannot call me when I make an order so we have no food shopping this week and I cannot ring my mother who is in her 80's and alone every night to check she is OK. I desperately need my landline fixed. Please can someone help me. Thank you, Mike
