I do not have a handset plugged in but callers hear the line ringing, then an answering service kicks in and asks them to leave a message. Can this be replaced with a greeting “this landline is not in use, please call on the mobile phone number”, or just the message “this number is not in use”.

We do not have a service that would stop the landline ringing but I can take a look and ensure the phone is set for fewest amount of rings via a private message?
