Internet keeps going off when phone displays check line cord

Hi

When the landline goes off and displays “Please check line cord” my internet and TV go off. This keeps happening at least once a week and usually by turning everything off things start working.

But today it has been intermittent with going from having all services working to nothing, I turned everything off and nothing worked. Then thirty minutes later it came back on for a few hours then went off, it’s gone off again and it’s taking longer to come back on. 
I’ve booked an engineer for tomorrow but I am concerned it will be working and I will get charged.

    We're sorry to hear about the issue you've been having 😔

    Given what you've described, we'd suggest keeping the engineer visit in place. If, by any chance, you do incur a charge, please let us know on here and we can take a look to see what we can do.
