Home phone not working

I am 85 years old and hard of hearing. I am housebound and although I have a mobile phone the signal in my area is dreadful so I rely on my landline. My landline does not work and when I call virgin media I cannot get through to anyone, the automated system does not give an option for landline help. I have asked my family for help and they have been unable to get through either. Ha no anyone suggest who I can contact to help me.
