Don't use or need landline. How do I get rid of it and reduce my bill? BT offers attractive atm!

Was "reprimanded" today for using the private message option when I had been asked to do so by a rep. Not pleased. Wanted to find out if VM could match the current BT offer. Not heard anything so am asking again.
