Cancelling an engineer's visit
Yesterday I had a problem with my landline.
After a helpful conversation, on the community, I got an engineer's visit arranged, then the fault was corrected or corrected itself, so the visit is not required.
Have spent this morning trying to cancel the visit. I have got the same response if I try and cancel on-line, via the text sent when the appointment was confirmed and by using 150 on the phone.
The result is always that there is nothing wrong with my system, but they want to do a hub re-boot. Why when all I want to do is cancel a visit?
Is there an easier way to cancel the visit?
