BT to Virgin

Hi, I have a BT landline and a VM landline (both operational). I now wish to port the BT landline to the VM landline, but I do need to keep the existing BT number. I will then close BT account. Is this something the VM Community can help me with, please?

  • Hi Molly_T, id like to do the same as MrWonderStuff. Should i start a new thread or can it be dealt with on this one?

    Thanks for letting us know you need a bit of help with your landline number transfer. As both lines are active we should be able to request the number port for you. (It will need to stay active until the port has completed.)

      Can you port/move a VM landline number at one house and override the another VM landline number at another house, Mum passed away and I want to keep her number at mine house

      Upon closer inspection, there were no active telephone services at our side - which are needed in order for us to port a landline number over. They are now exploring options for landline services, and we can then arrange the landline number port once these are installed and active.
