Will TNT Sport remain on Virgin TV GO?

With the news tha TNT are closing Eurosport and bringing their content over to TNT, AND that the new MAX+ streaming app is too launch in the futue, will TNT Sports remain on Virgin Media and Virgin TV Go?

  • Hi Mobes

Thank you for your query. As of now, TNT sports remains as an add-on on our service. If we have any further updates, we will be sure to let you know here Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further help.

TV Go is a broadcast add-on service, so the TNT channels are part of the broadcast agreement VM has with Warner. The only thing that is changing is that the Eurosport channels are being removed. The TNT channels remain unchanged. Also look out for more sport appearing on Quest, as this is earmarked for more Warner sport content.

  • Is there any indication of how the current Eurosport output (e.g. Tour De France) will be shown on Virgin media going forward from when they remove the Eurosport channels?

Thanks for this. That article contains so much corporate bs from Scott Young - do they think we cannot see that all they want is to maximise as much revenue from the consumer? Sad days. Still at least the tour will be on ITV for one last time this year as free to air.
