Virgin TV Control App

I have for many years controlled and set recordings on my TiVo and V6 boxes using the above App on my iPad. When I came to use it yesterday I discovered it was different, no doubt due to the merger with O2. I logged in again and received the verification email but when I clicked on the link in the email the App tells it there is a Sign On Error and to contact my system administrator, so here I am . . . .

I find this method of controlling my two boxes very convenient so would hate to lose it.

As far as I can see the App is the latest and the OS on the iPad is current.

    Sorry to hear of your concerns with accessing the TV Control App. 

    When you go to access your online account from here, are you prompted to create a Virgin Media O2 ID? 

    If so, do you find you get the same error on both the app and a browser? Are you able to try on another device at all, to see if you're able to register the Virgin Media O2 ID from there?

      Logging in via a web browser on my PC has fixed the problem.

      I have also renewed my contract saving £60 a month!
