Sky Sports app

Added Sky Sports (SS) to my package on October 26. I can view SS channels on my TV the following morning.

October 29 I try to view through SS app. I sign in with the VM button, it doesn't recognise the passkey I set up in July, tells me to try another way, so I get the verify identity email, that's fine, I click the relevant buttons and go back to the SS app and I'm signed in. When I try to watch something live it tells me to "Get Sky Sports to watch this live".

It's all jolly frustrating. I tried calling customer support but that chatbot is useless and I couldn't get through to a human.

I see this appears to be a known issue but cannot find a solution. I've deleted apps, cleared the cache and confirmed the existence of the passkey. If I can't fix this I'm very reluctantly going to have to switch to Sky as I want to watch the Ashes on the app.

TNT Sports is currently accessible by using the VM TVGo app for ios and android devices.

And if you have a computer you can use the TVGo browser version.

It can take a few days for the VM login to actually be linked with the Sky Sports app, possibly due to waiting for Sky to link the new account to their actual systems.

Regarding the Sky Sports pin. Try signing into your MyVM account, and then go Account Settings > Sky Device Settings.  You will find an option there to change the Sky Sports PIN, or get a reminder sent for the PIN.
