Login to Sky Sports Desktop Player Today. asking for new details

Hi,

Firstly, I tried the Community Forum and there is no "Start a Discussion" button anywhere to be seen, on any page, so the only way of doing so was on this part of the forum. Hopefully this works?

I am trying to login to Sky Sports Desktop Player, which I do every day. Suddenly this morning I'm taken to a completely new screen, one I have never seen before, it asks me for my VM email, then my VM login password, then another screen asking for my backup email, and I see it's then going to ask for 2 step authentification. Just to login to Sky Sports Desktop Player.

So it is going through all the steps trying to set me up as a "new VM user" which I'm not, I've been using Sky Sports via  their website and my VM login for years and years. I don't want to set up as a new user, and not sure why suddenly this is being

Tried on variouis browsers, Chrome, Firefox, Brave, all exactly the same. None take me to my usual login screens.

Any ideas what is happening today?

Also - why can't I start a new discussion in the main Community Forum?
