Email Verification/Sky Sports

Whenever I try to log into my virgin account, it asks for email verification, and the email never arrives in time (10 minutes). It often arrives hours later.

now I can’t log into sky sports and watch on the go.

    Sorry to hear you're not receiving your verification email. 

    Is this with a Virgin Media email address, or is this with another email client, such as Gmail or Outlook?
