Can't log in to Sky Sports app via VM log in

Good afternoon,

I have been trying to login to the Sky Sports app, for about 14 days, the log in screen takes me to a login for VirginmediaO2 and has given me an account recovery code ,but when I try to log in using the account recovery code nothing works and yo have 5 attempts and locks you out for a week, screenshot enc

 

  • Hello Martin , yes with an email address I no longer use, because it would not let me use my blueyonder email address,so I asked my son to use his email address to verify and he verified it but then I gat error unable to log you in. Bays281

    I have sorted my log in details, the email for my Virgin media account was a blueyonder email and my O2 account was a virgin email address so the amalgamation was not recognised.

    Thank you for your post. We're very sorry to hear about the issue logging into the Sky Sports app. 

    To confirm, when you request to verify is there an option to verify another way?

    Good Afternoon Is this problem any closer to a resolution please, this is the second time I have had to verify an account recovery code the first code did not work, and also the second code screen shot above did not work, and now I have to wait until 02/08/2025 to attempt to log in again. This is all since verification for a Virgin Media 02 amalgamation. I had never had a problem before your amalgamation to merge 02 and Virgin Media accounts, I have access to tv go and emails with just my Virgin login.  Awaiting your reply bays281
