Cannot record from the app

I can’t record from the app on my phone or iPad and receive an error message about the box being offline (see below). I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, rebooted the box and looked through the pages for advice but this is still an issue. I am upstairs and the box is on downstairs and working. Can anyone advise? The app generally is more than a bit glitchy!

    Sorry to hear about these difficulties using your TV Go app to manage the recording on your TV box. 

    Can we just check - have you rebooted the box by turning it off using the switch at the back for 60 seconds, rather than just turning the box off and on again?

      Can you clear the cache and data from the app and reboot the handset prior to trying again?

        I’ve just cleared the cache and data from both devices and rebooted the handset and still get the same error messages on iPad and iPhone.
