Cannot access Sky Sports app through my Windows 10 PC

Hi 

 

I am running a Windows 10 PC and trying to access the Sky Sports App - when I do I get the pop up which says "let's head over to Sky Sports" Once there I use the VM UK login (bottom left) when I click on that I get the response "an unknown error has occurred"

I have looked at the "help" section but cannot see a resolution

 

Can anyone help please
