Upgrade to volt 500mbps

Hi,

On Monday I upgraded to volt 500mbps, the speed has dropped like a stone, when I was on volt 300mbps I was getting 330mbps plus on my mobile speed test, now I'm getting 11.2mbps What's going on? I have unplugged rebooted etc, still the same.

Log into the hub's Network status and you should see the following:
On downstream: Max Traffic Rate 575000085 bps
On upstream: Max Traffic Rate        55000085 bps

If you have much lower figures there is a provisioning failure, so call VM, explain the problem and say that the hub has the wrong speed profile and to reprovision the modem and push out the correct config file*. Don't allow them to lazily book a tech.

I'm also on M500, my config filename is cmreg-vmdg660-bbt053+voc-b.cm, and yours should be similar. Note bbt053 which indicates the M500 tier.

It reads the same as yours

downstream: Max Traffic Rate 575000085 bps

upstream: Max Traffic Rate 55000085 bps

and config file is similar to what you have stated.

There's another three reasons for the problem. Post your downstream and upstream stats by copy and paste.

Isn't all this talk about real speed to the hub meant to show if fine means the hub Docsis is fine?

The problem is the bad wifi on the hub.

Using the Realspeed test click on Run full test and re-post the results.

Lets see if the Upstream is also slow on the mobile phone.

To see a Wi-Fi speed in the 330Mbps range the 5GHz band is going to be needed.

In the Hub's Connected Devices menu, is the mobile phone shown as connected
to the Hub's Wi-Fi via the 2.4GHz band or via the 5GHz band ?

Sorted it out 5ghz manual channel instead of auto, turned off channel optimization and set channel width to 20/40/80 MHz.

Thanks for all help and suggestions appreciated.
