Volt boost speed upgrade

Hi,

I recently joined VM and have just had my broadband account upgraded from M350 to M500 by the O2 Volt boost

All is good on O2 

VM however is showing as upgraded but the speed has not increased when testing

Looking through the forums most are saying it is an instant speed upgrade, others are saying it could take up to 14 days.

Not a massive issue, as it is working fine, I would just like to set my expectations before contacting VM 

Anyone else had the same?

      The first screenshot posted would definitely indicate that the Volt speed boost has been applied.

      This is backed up by the second screenshot posted, which is showing a download speed (350.45 Mbps) higher than the minimum guaranteed download speed for the M500 package (258 Mbps).

      Just to confirm, are you testing your speed on a wireless or hard wired connection? If a wireless connection, you should expect to see a higher speed when testing on a hard wired connection.

    The speed is from my desktop wired computer, it is the same speed as it was before the 'upgrade'. Basically unchanged.

    When testing directly from my router I am getting 386/39.3MB which has been pretty constant since install +/- 3MB

    Like I said no biggie, the speed is pretty good tbh, just no much point in 'upgrading' my speed if in fact it falls within the 'Minimum Guaranteed Download Speed'
