They say the man with the fastest car is the least endowed in the trouser department. Does that apply to the fastest broadband connection too? 🙂

Sorry to hear this is still unresolved for you oisin1974
I've checked the systems at our side and can confirm there is no issues in the area that are affecting your services. It has however flagged that the router cables need to be checked.
First, check the Fibre cable is securely connected to the back of your Hub. This connects below the power button and power cable on the back of the Hub near the bottom.
Next, check the cable is securely connected to the wall socket. After checking all cables connected to the Hub are connected securely please turn your Hub off and back on again using the power switch on the back.

It would be interesting to see any Hub5x "router status" pages ? What are the downstream & upstream optical levels, etc ?

Will the last best hub from VM ever be the hub 5 Docsis only?
- MartynSuperfast
I doubt they will ever make a new DOCSIS hub when they plan to roll out xgs everywhere.

I really can't understand why they just don't terminate the fibre with an ONT type device.? Offer a Router to those who want one, and those who don't can just use their own networking kit.
But really who am I kidding with this stupid train of thought, it's VM after all ......
