That’s pretty much what I said in the first instance.
We had perfect WiFi for 3 years, virgin called one afternoon a few weeks back and offered an upgrade, we agreed, drove home, the upgrade had taken place, nothing else had changed. I ran a sped test to look at my speeds and the WiFi was terrible, but the Ethernet was 1000Mbs.
I left it a few days, it didn’t improve, I then posted on here… all the other following nonsense from people being sarcastic when I tell them I work in IT, accuse me of telling lies (why? What’s the point other than wasting my time posting what’s going on, on this forum?) and the other usual forum stuff.
I just posted that my WiFi was slower instantly, yes instantly the moment Virgin upgraded me - it’s that simple. (of scourse no one has moved in next door and installed equipment…bla bla bla what a joke)
And I expect the experts, who I’m paying for this service to be able to fix it, nothing else. I don’t care what you install, old or new, if it works I’ll have it.
