Trying to complete my order!

Hi guys - I'm nearly broken.

All i'm trying to do is complete my order that i started on December the 3rd!

I signed up during the black friday/cyber monday deals fine, got given an order number, delivery date and kit date etc. And then nothing turned up. I've had zero communication since the 3rd of December and have no internet whatsoever which is a problem as i work from home!

After scanning my spam folder i found a single email from Virgin media  telling me my account is on hold as there was a current virgin connection at my address at the time of sign up. Ironically the previous account holder terminated that account a mere hour after that email. It's been 30 days and virgin didn't attempted to call, sms or email me once about it since.

Today alone:

- i have called the main phone line, spoken to Anushka who transferred me back into the phone queue with no guidance at all which is where i started.

- Sat in the queue for 1hr 27 minutes for the voice recording to go silent and leave me hanging on the line.

- Called again and spoke to someone who transfered me to the sales team who had finished for the day

- Contacted the live chat support spoke to Rishi, who said they couldnt help and hung up

- Re-contact the live support who tried to help, transferred me to another member (Samson), then told me they couldnt help and told me to call the main line number

- Then i called again, spoke to a chap who i couldnt catch the name of, who was very polite tried to help, tried to personally transfer me twice, just to leave me in the phone system being asked to pick options again.

All i'm trying to do is complete an order.... I have an order reference number!! Can anyone help me??

As it stands at 7.01pm, i'm trying to call 0800 052 2525 which apparantly is ment to be open Mon - Fri (08:00 - 20:00) and telling me it's closed. This is maddening...

And this is all before you have even started being a paying VM customer. Just think how things might be once you are locked in to an 18 month contract.

@Cardiffman282 - That made me smile 😉 what a day...seriously, I've got a leaking roof and now ive got zero internet and not a clue how to get my old deal/order resolved.  I suppose i can always sign up again and now pay an extra £300... what a silver-lining. lol

@Cardiffman282 is correct. It doesn't get any better after you have signed up.  If you really want to be a Virginmedia customer, at least you know what to expect.

  • Welcome to Virgin Media.!

Get out while you still can as the 14 day cooling off period should only start from when your services begin.
