Sorry to hear these concerns about your first bill, and particularly the £35 activation or installation fee. You should have been informed of this at the point of sale if it was a charge being included, and will have been sent contract documents to agree to when taking out services too.
We can take a look to check if these were included, and help raise a complaint for you if needed! I will just need to send you a PM to confirm a few details to do this. In VM Land there are two different charges, Installation charge and Activation charge. If they don't get you with one they might hit you with the other.
