New Installation

Broadband being installed in next few weeks and is the isolator box still required and if so would like it put in a cupboard out of sight as cable from outside box can be fed through airbrick under the floor to the middle of house. Does this cable need to be fed through the back of the isolator box or can it be through the side? Realise I would need to do under floor part.  Thanks.

Depends on which install you are getting, either HFC, RFoG (VM) or FTTP (Nexfibre).  Either way the installer will not work under the floor, so you will need to install conduit and pull rope yourself.

Note, you will need to be in attendance when the contractor arrives to install the outside cabling, as they generally just do whatever is the easiest/shortest route.
