Hub 5 Router with no light

I switched from 250MB Broadband earlier this week to 1GB, the new router Hub 5 was plugged in and all worked for 5 days, now I have no broadband however oddly enough the TV still appears to work.  I checked the router and it has no lights on , spoke to Virgin support and they are sending an engineer to visit.  I suggested plugging in the old router which we did and whilst I can connect to the router it does not have any Internet which I suspect is a setting on the Virgin side to switch back to 250MB.

Does no light on the hub suggest it is faulty?  Any suggestions as 4 days with no broadband is not great.  Also checked with next door neighbour and there broadband is working fine.

No light usually means no power.

Make sure the power supply cable is fully pushed into the back of the Hub 5.

On the rear of the Hub 5 is a tiny Power switch, is it On ?

Does the Hub 5 has a 3 amp fuse in its mains plug it may need to be replaced ?
