Hub 3 - flashing green light

Hello

i returned home to a flashing green light on my hub 3 today. There are no outages in the area. I have done a hard reset. I hadn’t touched the router previously. I have tried all available channels and it’s still Flashing green. It’s as though I’ve been cut off. I’ve waited 3 hours now.

I work from home and need internet access for my job so I need a solution set fast.

  • Have you called VM and reported the issue?

    Have you checked all the cables both inside and outside for obvious issues?

    Unless you're on a business contract don't hold your breath for a speedy resolution.

      I called but the line said that there were outages in the UK they already know about so only to hold on if reporting something else.

      Yes RE: cables, unplugged everything and put everything back in. 

      That said, there has been some work done outside my house today by neighbours - I hope they haven't damaged a line.

        Hi pbarneybarnes 

        Have you used the /check-services/   function to check for problems in your area? You can also a run a test on your equipment from there. 

        I know you said you called but did you try calling the automated Service Status number  0800 561 0061?  This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

        EDIT - Perform a factory reset by removing all ethernet cables from the hub and keep the reset button pressed down for a timed 60 seconds.
