Hot Router
My router gets really hot lately, it was not new when I received it. I am on 1 gig which I think is router 6. It is in an elevated position on an air shelf with good air flow round it. It started getting hot about a month ago.

I've moved your post from the natter.chatter section as they aren't monitored by VM Forum Staff.
VM UK provide a hub4 or hub 5 for the Gig1 connection. There isn't a hub 6.
I notice going by <this thread> from 5 months ago that you had been looking at obtaining a longer power cable. Did you manage to get one and if so which one was it, as that may be the reason why your hub is getting hot recently (it may also be due to the weather and location)
