Address not listed but all my neighbours have Virgin Media Broadbank

Hello,

I am considering joining Virgin Media for fibre broadband, but my address doesn't seem to be listed, despite all my neighbours in the block of flats (a victoria converted house) having virgin media fibre! clearly a glitch in the system. postcode is n195rr in london. How can i speak to someone to rectify?

  • I need help with this. People on my street less than 50 metres away, same postcode receive FTTP 1,100 mb/s download with Virgin, limited to Openreach providers with 60mb/s. Please help me

        well i spoke to a kind person who said they will look into the postcode and call me back in a couple days. i waited 4 days and didn't get a call back, so i dialled again. spoke with someone else, they told me no one can help me.

    Same for me. I can't find my address.
    My next door neighbour is listed in Virgin Media address but not ours. I know that others in the same street has access to your network as well.
    I have contacted many times but no one has returned. Also filled this form many times, same no one has returned. I have tried 3-4 times in the past year.
    Please help!

    I am about to move into a property that had an extension. The flats are on royal mail address finder, but not in your directory. Can I get some help to get an install ?

  • Hi, I’m the same, my neighbours have gone live but my house number isn’t showing. Interestingly, the CBT is right outside my front door so this must just be a database issue. Please can I have a DM so this can be looked into and be resolved? Thanks

  • Hi I have the same issue! My new address which is also a new build flat is not listed. I need to have this sorted asap but I can’t find a number to call someone directly. 

  • I'm also having simaler issues. Broadband not available for me on the post code checker but it is for the house next door.

      Hey, Hope you are well!
      Have you been able to get your address up on the site yet. I have been calling customer support and the all say the same thing "Your address will be updated on the site approx. within 2 days". However, it seems like they always lie. Been waiting multiple weeks now with multiple calls to customer service... not a single action has been taken as of yet.
      Would like to know if there has been any updates on your end!

  • Hi, I’m having similar problems, moved into a new build, address is on Royal Mail and we have a box on the wall outside branded with Virgin Media, yet our address is not available on the website to order a package. Tried calling but the staff on the phone are unable to help. Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi,

    I am having a similar issue. 

    My flat is not listed on the Virgin Media website despite all the flats below me in the building being registered. The sales team have said they are unable to help. 

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

      We're sorry to hear that the Sales Team have been unable to help. With flats, it can be a little tricky as the teams are unable to install at height so this could be why your address has been marked as non-serviceable but others, lower down in the building have been able to get Virgin Media. 

      Usually if there is a question, we can send a spotter but as the sales team have advised they are unable to help, this must mean the address has been looked at previously and decided as non serviceable. I'm afraid we would not be able to offer services and you'd need to look at an alternative provider.

    VM will not install above first floor level. Does the building have an existing internal cable system to all the flats? If not you are out of luck.
