18 month New contract

So had a call from VM today in regards to a new contract, because I’ve been with VM over 20 odd years and would’ve like to be upgraded for £3? Now this guy kept me on the phone for over 25 mins and spoke so fast I couldn’t keep up, I’m 77! lol anyway part of the talk was about I2 free sim, which I’m not really bothered about it but apparently I’ve signed up for it and had 2 emails with number and arrival date, I DO NOT WSNT IT!, question is can i cancel the SIM card without jeopardising the Virgin bit.  The contract is for quicker broadband and larger tv, I did hear him say about films and sports, my dd is 35 presently and they wish to increase it to 46 which I believe includes 6 per month for phone. Anybody please advise. Happy to keep Virgin part of contract but not sim. The new contract also includes new  360 box, is it similar to Vito box?, is it any good? Sorry for long post.  Regards.  Dave

afaik the sim and the proposed new BB is linked - you cannot have one without the other

i will add that what was offered on the phone may not be what any new contract says with regard to addons and the price - they have the habit of telling you one thing to get you to agree then charging you something different - and its always more

you have 14 days to get out of anything they have done but you need to act quickly - the sim and the BB are 2 different contracts so if you hang about trying to sort out the truth from the lies you may find yourself locked into something you dont want at a price you did not agree

the caller had one purpose and that was to get you to agree to whatever he could con you into - 20 years or 20 months matters not to him - just what he could earn by conning you
