5G bugged

Hi, im running into a little problem when traveling between Netherlands & Germany

When I enter NL my signal is fine. Fast 5G, switches over quickly (sometimes with a phone reset)

However sometimes I drive from NL to Germany for a day and when I enter Germany the 5G signal icon disappears then reappears over and over again.

Weirdly google maps still works when im driving across the border and in Germany but Safari or any other kind of data usage kicks back with a no mobile signal error and to use WiFi.

The APN settings are correct although for some strange reason they defaulted back to "goto.virginmobile.uk" instead of "data.o2.co.uk"

Changing it to "data.o2.co.uk" seemed to get 5G to work but only for maybe a few mins then the logo would disappear and reappear repeatedly.

Has anyone else had this problem? usually after about 30 mins of being in Germany and turning the line off and on again works. If anything i'd like to raise the issue to be looked at.

I have a screen recording but obviously cant post it on the forum due to the image only restriction. I've uploaded 2 screenshots of the screen recording. As you can see 5G disappears and reappears

I have a VirginO2 eSIM with iPhone 14 pro max

I'll post this on the Virgin community and the O2 community forums as I don't know which forum is the correct one.

Looking forward to hearing from someone :)

This board is for VM broadband customers only. You need the O2 board, community.o2.com

Actually this board is for Virgin Mobile, it's in the phone/virgin mobile section.

Also, I am a VM customer which is why im posting here.

Virgin Mobile is defunct and legacy MVNO, using EE network, then for a short time, Vodafone, before a partnership with Spanish Telefonica who owns O2.

Virgin Media O2 is the new mobile offering, and your question should be on the O2 forums. The (legacy) section on VM site is mainly for general questions around VOLT and not technical. On many VM customer replies, you will see the VM rep refer the poster to O2.
