Web renewal

Hi

I just accepted a web renewal for my tv ,broadband and phone, wh3n looking at my package it stated I had virgin 360 which I don’t I have v6 TiVo which I don’t want to lose. I spoke to a customer relations agent who informed me that I would receive a new remote which as long as I didn’t use I would stay with my TiVo system. I now find out that this isn’t the case and that I will be forced onto the horizon 360 system after five days. I would like some advice should I cancel my new contract immediately or is there anything anyone on here can do to keep me on the v6 TiVo platform.

Are you past the 14 day period? If not you can cancel and revert as long as you haven't carried out any upgrade of V6 to 360.

That "new remote" is the voice-activated one for a TV360 box - as you've subsequently discovered.

Conversions to TV360 are voluntary but irreversible. The only time that a conversion is compulsory is where a part of your package is something that V6 doesn't support - currently this means Disney+ or Paramount+ subscriptions.

Do you have any screenshots of the offer you accepted?

  • Thanks for reaching out to us davepete63, and a very warm welcome to our Community Forums!

We're sorry to hear that the package isn't quite as expected upon original sale.

Can you please confirm if you have since been able to speak to our team in relation to this matter, or with the advice issued by japitts, is the 360 set top box a more suitable selection for your requirements?

    Thanks,
