Volt increase

Good evening 

I changed my package a few months ago. £22pm for broadband and £5pm for o2 Sim. 24M contract (dont use the sim but cheaper to take it). 

i had an email from o2 stating my bill in April 2026 with o2 is increasing the sim price £2.50 instead of £1.80, the email goes on to say i have a right to cancel the airtime plan within 30 days.

if i cancel this plan, will it effect my £22 pm payment & contract with Virgin?. Martin Lewis is urging people to leave o2 because they are increasing prices too much. 


i was emailed 29th oct so i need to cancel soon if im allowed to.

To look into the Virgin Media side of your Volt we would need to bring you in for a private message, as for the O2 SIM we would advise reaching out to O2 ASAP 👉 O2.
