Virgin van hit my car and didn't stop

Hello can someone message me as one of your vans hit my car and damaged the mirror at 16.28pm on B1525 outside ziggys barbers, there was a line of 3 of your vans and the one at the back was mf25fwt, but it was the one at the front with the cherry picker on the roof that himy car, so I should hopefully have the reg tomorrow when I go see a business for their cctv footage,  I assume the driver thought no one was in car as they did not stop, but my partner took pictures as she was waiting in the car for me, but his reg was not visible i

n her pictures,  if you could contact me ASAP, or if you need me to log it with the police for a crime reference number, I'm sure you can check who it is through tracking

You're wasting your time on here. The driver is guilty of failing to report an accident.

    Go straight to the police.

Failing to stop at the scene of an accident or to report the accident to the Police in 24 hours.

Section 170 of the Road Traffic Act 1988  applies ... if the plod are not busy with doughnuts.

        Hi alan1981,

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

You would need to raise this via your own insurance company please in the first instance.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions and we'd be happy to help.

This would need to be provided to your Insurance company please and they will liaise with our legal team accordingly. Thank you.

You should not deal directly with VM, you should leave it up to your insurance company. It could jeopardise your case by contacting VM directly.
