Virgin threatening to charge for equipment

I am in exactly the same position, VM are threatening to charge me for their equipment on 28/12/24, despite the fact that I have requested the returns packaging. I persevered on the phone and was put through to someone in the Philippines !! who has requested the packaging again for me, though fat chance of it arriving before the new year, I have stressed that they had better not take any money from my account as the fault is theirs.

    Just to confirm has equipment returns packaging been sent out?

    You can also take this to an O2 store if this is easier. 

    Once you've sent this back the warehouse it will take them around 10 working days to scan in.

      Hi Matt,

      I did receive an email stating that my returns packaging would be sent out, this was just before Christmas. if they have used Royal Mail then I have to state now that I have not received half of the post that I should have received from my loved ones this year. How would taking equipment back to an o2 store work? will they give me a receipt for it?
