Virgin threatening to charge for equipment

Broadband cancelled over a month ago, have requested 3 times for packaging to return their equipmentn and now getting threats they’ll charge me.

Virgin are impossible to reach by phone. I have absolutely no desire to keep the useless hub and cannot wait to be totally done with Virgin.

They need to get their own house in order before they start threatening customers.

can anyone advise how to get through to virgin? It’s ironic they won’t leave you alone when they want to sell you something and then when they want to take money from you they make it impossible to dispute 😭

    Hello, UselessVM1938.

The best way to reach virgin media is on 0345 454 1111 the best people to speak to would be cancellations and they will be able to get the returns pack sent out for you.

You can contact these by calling the number above, then Option 4, Then Option 4 again.

If you have any issues please feel free to reply and I'll do my best to help.

    Thanks.

VM tech or not that advice usually ends up with no help from CS other than they will send a package which they then dont do - but this works

      https://www.yodel.co.uk/returns/virgin

go there and print your own label

I don't see how being negative towards my reply helps the OP?

Using the link you've provided the OP may not have a box to put the returns in and or If It gets damaged liability would fall to the OP.

So my advice would be to contact Customer Services, and speak with them and allow them to assist you rather than cutting corners.

    Hi UselessVM1938

Forum Staff have also advised that's it's possible to return your equipment via an O2 store if you have a local one. If you do take that route then make a note of your account number along with the serial numbers of any equipment you are returning and give that to the O2 staff, retaining a copy yourself and possibly get them to sign for it/and or take a photo.
