Virgin accounts linking

Hi,

I’m a new customer to virgin and have purchased the broadband for my new apartment that I’m moving into. 

the trouble I’m having is creating my virgin media account, everytime I hit register it brings me to the linking with o2 screen. I put in the details from the welcome email but it doesn’t work. Making me think I don’t actually have an account yet. 

I made the purchase two days ago and the broadband is due to be delivered tomorrow. 

Do I need to wait for the broadband to arrive and be installed to create (or link?) the accounts or am I just stuck in a loop?
