Verification of Virgin Media/O2

I've logged into My Virgin Media account for the first time in ages today, and it's asking me to provide a second email address for verification purposes.

I added a new email address, and received an email to  verify it.
I added a new password matching all the criteria.
I received a text message with a six digit number to my mobile phone.
I saved the words provided to recover my account.

All was well until that point.

I then clicked continue and received a message saying "This Page has Expired."
Is there a fault with the process?

    Thank you for your post. I'm very sorry to hear about how the processes ended for your online account. 

    To confirm, have you been able to try this again? Or have you been able to try signing into your online account?
