Unpaid Referral Reward

I referred a friend back in February, however,  neither of us have received our Referral Rewards. I contacted Virgin, and after waiting on hold for hours, was told it was nothing to do with them and was given the number for Aklamio. After emailing Aklamio they have told me that they have no record and because it is over 3 months ago they cannot do anything about it and will not pay out our rewards.

When my friend had the broadband installed she was told it could take 3-6 months to receive the reward. I also received an email in Feb to say that the referral link I sent my friend had been used and to register with Aklamio, which i did.

Has anyone else had this problem before I go back to Virgin?

    Hi Spw_silverm

    Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, sorry to hear you have not had a refer a friend credit since April, when referring this is done Via a link and your friend then gets an email which they then follow and place the order at this point you both get an email showing the credit will be added, did you receive this?

      Hi Paul

      I sent a referral link which my friend clicked on and we were both directed to open Aklamio accounts, which we did. 

      I did receive an email to tell me that the referral link had been used and we both received an email from Aklamio to welcome us.
