Unable to Switch to Ebilling via app or online being charged

Hi,

I recently changed my VM contract and all seemed fine with my first bill but noticed £1,75 charge for a paper statement which I have now received.  I was on e-Billing previously and never requested this to change so looks like VM pulling a fast one and trying to fleece me.

Long story short, I used their webchat service last week and told I would receive a refund in 3 days but cannot see this has happened.

I called today and spent 40 minutes trying to get this confirmed it has been refunded and will not be charged moving forward - I was told I would get the refund but they cannot access the e-Billing unless they set up a new contract for £0.01 or I can do this - however there is no option to specifically change to e-Billing other than a contact preference of email/text/phone call/post saying if I select email this will be changed to e-Billing.

So any idea how to change to e-Billing as the company has got me round in circles without any resolve and all I want to do is switch to e-Billing if not already done so and check if I have been refunded for the previous error caused by VM.
