Unable to remove email from account

Hello,

My personal email address is bound to my mothers Virgin Media account - when trying to remove this online and after recieving the verification link I get an error along the lines of "This link is no longer valid" though I have just recieved it.

My problem is that I have just got Virgin Media at my own property but now I cannot access my account with my email address because its bound to the wrong account.. 

Can someone help me please=?

    Welcome to the Community, and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re experiencing with your email account at the moment. 

    You wouldn't be able to remove the email address from your mother's account and add it to yours without removing all of the email addresses associated with your mother's account.

    You would need to create a new email address to use as your username with a third party, as you can no longer create new email accounts with Virgin Media.
