Unable to Register Online Account

I am running into the same issue that a lot of people appear to have of not being able to register my account online.

My services are all installed and live but the online process keeps freezing and timing out once you get to the set password stage. 

I have followed all the previous suggestions of clearing cache/cookies and history, making sure password meets requirements etc but have the same problem each time.

Is there a known solution to this?
