Unable to Register ?

I have tried to register for My Virgin Media many times. I complete the registration form correctly with name account number and area number. I then verify my email the  choose a password which is accepted . Then i press to register and i get a VMedia logo spinning which never stops ? I have tried many time now and keep getting emails to register ? 
I tried to resolve this on phone and online but to no avail. 
Has anyone else experienced this ? I get through the security questions  on the phone but it doesn’t recognise them when registering ??? 
im confused ? 
Any help would be appreciated.

    What browser are you trying on? Could you try on a different one? 

    Are pops up allowed when you are trying this?

      I have tried on PC and iPhone many many times. I have contacted the support team on the phone and been told it’s a problem they have at the moment and I need to wait upto 5 days and I will get a text ? I have received many texts and emails asking me to register but still no good .all the info is correct - I want to use the App to make adjustments to my service but can’t ? It seems a simple thing to do but still not registered ??

  • I Have been trying since November 24, keep getting email to register but still getting spinning logo, tried on my laptop with Safari & Chrome browsers independently and on my phone app and even rang in last December 24 where the call handler said it might be caused with me not being online yet, All to no avail

      Just to confirm are you an active customer or are you waiting to be installed?

      To make an online account you do need to be active.

        Virgin have been emailing me to register since Nov 24, Ive had the box installed outside but the fibre is not inside yet but I am still on the internet from my previous supplier as I had to extend because Virgin kept delaying install

    Just a thought, does your 3rd party email address contain a hyphen ? This can cause issues. 

  • Had virgin fitted Friday 7th Jan, Still can't register and tried numerous times, Not impressed with process, Have been waiting since November 2024 so delay on install seem to pass it on to next engineer, Finally got install and the second tv box won't connect wifi as drops signal, rang in and they said we will up speed from 350mbps to 500mbps, the day after I got a text & email telling me somethings not quite right with my connection and then an upgrade to 500mbps I did diagnostic test on router which came back it had a few problems so rang back where they asked me would I be interested in 1Gbps speed for a little extra money and that would sort my wifi problem, I have been with sky for over 20 years and my in speed was 75mbs and quite suffice all I want is internet and my 2 tv boxes working I am at the point where I'm having 1 booster sent out hopefully by the 12th try it for a week if that doesn't work I am still in cooling of period for canceling which I didn't want to do.
