Unable to pay by debit card....STILL

Hi i've had a problem using my debit card to pay my virgin media bill, for quite some time now, i've resorted to using my partners card, but it's not the most convenient.

When i go to pay it shows this......

I have been in touch with my bank today and they have said they have not declined any such transaction and that it is a problem with virgin media payment system, it's like it's not even triggering my banks verification, this has been ongoing for a few  years now and still doesn't seem solved, can anyone please help me, i know other payment methods are available, but this is the one i would like to use.

Can you let us know if this happens on multiple devices and browsers? Also, what type of card are you trying to use? (while omitting any personal details). Please get back to us when you can.

    Being ex Barclaycard, this perfectly describes a card payment process that is failing before it has submitted the transaction to the bank for authorisation.

    Save yourself all this hassle and pay by direct debit, works every time for me.

    The DD could use the bank a/c & sort code from the RBOS Visa debit card.

      I've set up direct debit, i'm getting too old for this stress, hopefully it works, but i pity all those who still have trouble paying the way i wanted to in the first place, thats been a few years now it's not been sorted.
