SSO Sign up help needed

Since yesterday I have been trying to sign into Virgin Media and also my o2 account and I get this:

I enter my email address - not my ntlworld address - but my gmail address that gets me to my ntlworld address. When I click next I get a message saying Please contact our team for help with your online account, quoting reference IDF-12B.

I have rung 202 from my o2 mobile yesterday and today and spoken to the team twice but to no avail. I still cannot access my email or my o2 account. Please can you 'raise a ticket' or solve my problem.

  • I was having the same problem and error message. I normally use Google Chrome to log in, Switched to Microsoft Edge and tried there, followed the instructions (setting up extra security) and it finally worked. Once completed I can go back to using Chrome.

    Same issue here, 3 online chats cut short, 2 phones calls, both times they said they'd ring me back and didn't. Had no email access now for 3 days. Have set up a new email elsewhere but many accounts I have want you to click on my virgin email to confirm ID before I can change email addresses.  Please can someone at Virgin get in touch asap.

      I have exactly same issue. It forces creation of a Virgin Media O2 account but then assumes that you are the primary account hilder and tries to link the wrong VM account. I reported it to VM and was told it was a known issue and should be fixed "this week". Meanwhile we have lost access to important emails.    Had nothing but trouble with VM over last few months, really need to get off their platform.
