Short (like the support): Costs

How do I speak to someone? I want a breakdown of costs for my packages. According to the costs on the internet I've been overcharged for ages.  I can't even see my contract as I joined before 2018!

Can someone tell me how I can speak to someone (not through the automated phone system please as I'm sure that's designed to hack you off so that you don't bother to pursue whatever it is you are trying to achieve). It's good to know that forums fix 95% of issues customers have (based on the number of people who don't return hahahaha - unbelievable)

I can't imagine how Virgin would survive in USA where they take customer service seriously.

Contract or t's and c's? Bill breakdown of each component costed not just a list of tv items and overall cost?

You get a TV/broadband/telephone bundle cost plus usage charges, e.g. calls made outside of calling plan.

If you last renegotiated your package more than a couple of years ago, there's a good chance you are paying more than current rates. VM don't have a price-list for individual services, they operate a multi-bundle discounting method where you choose your combination of services, and pay a price for that package.

Packages can't be negotiated on this forum, you're best off pricing up potential alternatives and then calling VM Retentions "armed & ready" with facts & figures. Assuming you have VM TV, you can audit your channel choices to the two TV-tiers at https://www.virginmedia.com/virgin-tv-edit/tips-and-tricks/virgin-tv-channel-guide

  • Hi Andyse thanks for posting and welcome back to our community.

If you sign into your online account you should be able to view your package.  Also PDFs of previous bills would show any discount expiry dates, etc.

      Hi

My bills do not breakdown what the individual components of my package cost. Looking on the current prices (which is all I can find) I am overpaying. I've been with virgin for a long time (ntlworld days) and this, coupled with intermittent network faults, really grinds now.

      Regards

      Andy

You are paying for a bundle, so there is no cost breakdown. It's similar to buying a package from a tour operator where you don't know the cost of the components such as flights, transfers, accommodation, etc.
